Background
Batiste sought to modernize its packaging for the Chinese market while maintaining brand recognition. Through The Right Kind agency, they engaged me to create a fresh, scalable design that resonates with local consumers, enhances digital visibility, and supports future product expansion.
Challenge & Limitation
Batiste’s packaging needed a modern refresh to better connect with Chinese consumers while keeping its brand identity intact. The current design felt outdated, lacked playfulness, and needed to stand out in digital spaces while staying recognizable and adaptable for future sub-brands.
Solution
The redesign adds humanistic elements, soft colors, and a cleaner aesthetic. By replacing computer-generated elements with bold, hand-painted designs and abstract motifs, it enhances freshness, simplicity, and confidence while preserving Batiste’s signature look.
